Sprunki Phase 1.8: A Few Weird Tricks I Stumbled Upon
Okay so if you’ve clicked around a few of these Sprunki things before and are just checking out Phase 1.8 to see what’s new… hi. Let me save you some time. Don’t just drag stuff randomly. There’s a kinda rhythm to it? Like, I’ve played so much my wrist just knows the drag motion. Muscle memory, man. (#09)
First trick: try dragging the blue-ish icon from the top corner really fast diagonally across the screen. No, seriously. Sometimes the animation glitches in a cool way, like it’s catching up. It doesn’t break anything, just looks neat. (#134)
What are you even making? Honestly, sometimes it sounds like someone tried to turn a laptop fan’s whir into a melody. (#267) But in a good way! That’s the charm. People always ask, "how long does a game of this last?" For me, it’s a perfect 5-10 minute thing. Open, make a weird beat that either slaps or sounds like a broken printer, feel accomplished, close. That’s the average session.
Oh, and "hidden content"? I mean, it’s not like a secret level. But sometimes if you combo certain icons in a specific (and utterly random) order, you get a slightly different sound effect. Is it an Easter egg or just a bug the creator left in? The world may never know. The Sprunki community argues about this stuff constantly.
My eyes are kinda blurry from all the bright colors after writing this, so I’ll wrap up. (#449) Phase 1.8 isn’t the fanciest, but it’s got its own vibe. Good for a quick brain break. Try the fast drag thing.
