Embark on a cooperative adventure in "Fill the Gap Platformer," a unique two-player puzzle-platformer designed for shared fun. A glitch is corrupting your game world, and the only way to restore it is to physically fill in the missing gaps within each level. This core mechanic transforms standard platforming into a collaborative repair mission.
Intuitive Controls & Gameplay
Control your character using either the Arrow Keys or WASD for movement. Your objective is simple: navigate each stage, locate the empty box, and interact with it to fill the gap, then press the Spacebar to advance to the next challenge. The game shines in its two-player mode, which can be toggled in the Settings for a much more engaging experience.
Customizable Features & Settings
The game is fully customizable. Within the Settings menu, you can enable mobile-friendly touch controls for on-the-go play, disable death visual effects for a cleaner look, and adjust other preferences. The pause menu provides quick access to level-skipping, restarting, and returning to the main menu for seamless navigation.
Key Gameplay Notes
- Hazards: Contact with any orange or red objects will result in instant death.
- Skip Function: When using the level skip feature, wait for your character to fully spawn in the new level before skipping again to prevent game instability.
- Crash Recovery: If the game breaks, clicking the menu button or the green flag is the recommended fix.
Recent Updates & Development
The game continues to improve with updates that have added a stylish pixelated transition effect between levels, introduced a dedicated bonus level, and refined control schemes. It's built upon a solid foundation, with credits for the player physics and collision system going to Griffpatch and atmospheric music provided by the Heatley Bros.
