Sprunki Pyramixed 0.9 But I Changed The Bonus Characters: Wait, You Can DO That?
So someone actually went and changed ALL the bonus characters? Like, not just one or two, but ALL of them? I have so many questions. Who has that kind of time? Why? What was wrong with the original ones? But also... cool! Innovation! I sometimes just let it play while doing dishes (#30). My kitchen has never been cleaner, and now I guess it'll sound different too?
First things first: if you're completely new to this whole Sprunki/Incredibox thing, welcome! You're about to experience that "from zero to hero" feeling where you go from "I have no idea what I'm doing" to "I made a 10-second loop that kinda slaps" in about 3 minutes. It's magical, even if what you make sounds like a robot's interpretation of easy listening.

Can I save my progress in this version? Uh... no. Not really. But that's okay! The ephemeral nature of art (#147) or whatever. You make something cool, you enjoy it for a minute, then you close the tab and it's gone forever. Like a digital sand mandala. Very zen. Very "living in the moment."
Here's a challenge: try to make something using only 3 icons. Seriously, pick your three favorites from the changed bonus characters and see what you can do. It forces you to be creative with limitations, which is way more fun than having unlimited options. Trust me on this.
The graphical glitch when you drag too fast looks cool actually (#134). I keep doing it on purpose just to watch the screen get all weird. Is that intended? Probably not. Do I care? Also no. It's my little secret with the game.
What's the loading time for this mod? Surprisingly fast! Like, suspiciously fast (#176). What did they sacrifice? The souls of the original bonus characters? A stable frame rate? Who knows, but it loads quick and that's all that matters when you have a sudden urge to make electronic noises.
If boredom was a sound, this would be its greatest hits album (#261). But like, in a good way! It's the perfect thing for when you're bored but not bored enough to do something actually productive. You're being "creatively bored." That's a thing now, I just made it up.

My fingers are starting to ache from the repetitive motions (#467). But in that satisfying "I've been creating" way, not the "I need medical attention" way. Probably. How many sound packs/characters are included? Well, the title says they changed the BONUS characters, so I'm assuming the main ones are still there? I haven't counted. Math is hard when you're having fun.
There's a specific joy when a mod surprises me after 100+ reviews (#378). And this one did! I wasn't expecting much from "changed the bonus characters" but it's... different! In a good way! The new ones have different sounds, different animations, it's like playing a familiar game but with new toys. My cat likes to watch the characters bounce (#6). She's judging my compositions, I can tell.
So yeah, if you want to make something that makes you smile (even if it's because it sounds ridiculous), this is your jam. The changed bonus characters add just enough novelty to make it feel fresh, but it's still the same comforting click-and-drag gameplay we all know and... tolerate? Enjoy? Both.
Believe it or not, I just "wrote" my first little "song" with this. It's 8 seconds long, sounds like a fax machine trying to communicate with a dial-up modem, and I love it. That's the magic - it doesn't have to be good, it just has to be yours. Even if "yours" sounds like a computer's internal monologue set to a beat.
