Gold Hunt - MMO Platformer: Multiplayer Gold Collection

Gold Hunt is a massively multiplayer online (MMO) platformer where players compete and cooperate to collect gold and reach the finish line. Based on @griffpatch's acclaimed multiplayer engine, this game allows you to see other players online in real-time, indicated by a green Scratch Cat avatar.

Controls, Objectives & Updates

Controls are flexible, supporting arrow keys, WASD, or mobile touch. The core objective is simple: guide your Scratch Cat through the map, gathering as much gold as possible before crossing the goal. Version 1.3 introduces a secret room, additional gold placements, and an updated end screen. Previous updates (v1.1, v1.2) added more gold, balance adjustments, cloud color variations, and the ability to record squished enemies.

Inspired by Emerald Hunt, this project credits @griffpatch_tutor for costumes, @McVincient_Tutorials for the end screen, and @UnaPrimavera for number scripts.
