Phase 1: Design Your Custom Card
If you don't have a pre-existing code, start by using the intuitive slider controls to adjust and design your very own birthday card. You can change the name on the card by pressing the "N" key. Once your design is complete, press the "S" key to generate a unique save code. This code is a string of characters (e.g., 00110800001000name) that encapsulates your card's design. If the N or S keys aren't responding, try clicking the middle of the screen to deselect any active sliders. You can share your codes with others via a dedicated forum.
Phase 2: Play the Generated Platformer
If you have a code—either your own or one shared by a friend—paste it into the game to watch the animated birthday card. After the card plays, you will enter a platformer level that corresponds to your card's design. Control your character using the Arrow keys or WASD keys to move and jump. The challenge is to complete the level without falling off the screen, touching hostile mushrooms, or making contact with forks. The developer assures that all levels are possible to complete with skill and persistence.
