Platformer Maker - Custom Level Construction Toolkit

Platformer Maker is a level construction toolkit that allows players to design, save, and load custom platformer stages. The block placement system, save/load functionality, and devtools are original code by the author. Player sprite art is credited to @StratfordJames.

[M] - Toggle menu
[Q] / [E] - Cycle through block types
Blue & White Block - Eraser function
[C] - Save current level
[L] - Load saved level
[0] - Open DevTools
[Space] - Test play current level
[Arrow Keys] - Move character
[Click] - Place selected block

Safety & Workflow Rules

A safety mechanism prompts users to type "cancel" if load is pressed accidentally, preventing progress loss. Placement is disabled while the menu is active. New levels require clicking "Total Levels" first to initialize storage.
