Platformer Maker v1.6 - Build, Place, and Play

Platformer Maker v1.6 offers a straightforward level creation tool built on @Wes64's platforming engine. To build a map, use W, A, S, D keys to move a placement block and press Space to place it. Before placing, select a block type from the bottom of the screen.

Block Types & Mechanics

Red blocks and spikes: Instant death on contact
Blue blocks (water): Pushes the player downward
Yellow blocks: The level finish goal
Green block with a line: Eraser tool
Standard ground blocks: Basic terrain

Map Finalization & Community Input

Once your map is complete, press 'M' to enter spawn adjustment mode, using the X and Y data boxes to position the player's starting point, then press 'M' again to finalize. The soundtrack features "Back on Track" by DJVI. The creator actively seeks community suggestions for new block types, with spikes and the eraser already implemented based on user feedback.
