Waterland Platformer V2: Master Water-Based Platforming

Waterland Platformer V2 introduces a refreshing aquatic twist to the platformer genre. The core gameplay revolves around collecting and strategically utilizing the Pump item to interact with the environment in unique ways.

Dynamic Water Mechanics and Store System

Once you obtain a Pump, press Z to shoot water. This water stream collects coins and can defeat enemies, adding both utility and combat to your platforming. Coins are used in the in-game store (bottom-right) to purchase essential upgrades. Buy the ‘Switch‘ item to change your character‘s look with the X key, and acquire the ‘Parachute‘ to glide through the air by holding Space.

A Challenge Against the Clock

Can you beat the developer‘s record? The game sets a clear challenge with personal best times to surpass: 44.38 seconds for Stage 1 and 58.94 seconds for Stage 2. Precise movement and smart use of your water abilities are key to setting a new record.

Controls and Collaborative Creation

Navigate the watery landscapes using intuitive cross-key controls, with Z, X, and Space handling your special abilities. This V2 iteration is a community project, featuring contributions from several creators for assets, mechanics, and music, resulting in a rich and cohesive platforming experience.
