The Wild West: a scrolling platformer collab - Saddle Up for Adventure

The Wild West is a scrolling platformer collaboration between creators @corpcooga and @AidanA21 (whose efforts are remembered despite a ban). Built on a simplified and edited version of @griffpatch's renowned scrolling engine, this game delivers a Western-themed adventure featuring an attack mechanic, enemy encounters, a shop system, purchasable skins, and intentionally interesting level design.

Controls, Combat & Customization

Control your character using arrow keys, WASD, or mobile touch controls. A dedicated attack action is mapped to the Spacebar or an on-screen mobile attack button located at the bottom right, allowing you to fend off enemies. Earn currency in-game to spend at the shop on various skins, letting you customize your cowboy's appearance.

Audio & Visual Credits

The atmosphere is enhanced by "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly" theme song. Visual assets include cacti art by @awesomebricks1, coin sprites by @StratfordJames, background scenery by @-emeraldwolf-, and tree art inspired by @--dove--. As this is a collaborative project, an identical copy exists, but only @corpcooga's version is officially recognized.
