Takodana – A Five-Month Star Wars Platformer Dedication
Released on May 4th, 2017 (Star Wars Day) by @QuantumSingularity, Takodana - A Platformer delivers 16 meticulously crafted levels inspired by The Force Awakens. Every sprite and animation is original, hand-drawn over five months of development. Reuse is permitted with proper credit.
Three Heroes, Three Distinct Movesets
- Rey – Armed with a blaster. Standard jump, shoot Stormtroopers from cover.
- Finn – Lightsaber combat. Press S/↓ to swing, Q to deflect laser bolts.
- BB-8 – Roll and hover. Press W/↑ to hover (fuel-limited), fire grapple to climb vertical surfaces.
Press Space to swap between Rey/Finn and BB-8 mid-level. Each character's ability is essential for specific puzzles.

- Q (BB-8) – Unlimited flight. No fuel consumption.
- F – Instant fuel replenish.
- Z – Reveal and adjust Super Jump slider.
- C – Swap between Rey and Finn directly.
- G – Toggle Resistance logo to Sabine Wren variant.
- X – Skip intro cinematic immediately.
Level 15 Easter Egg: Shoot Kylo Ren repeatedly. He will freeze blaster bolts mid-air, exactly like the film.
