Platformer Level Competition - Design, Test, and Win
Platformer Level Competition is not just a game but a full-featured level editor and community contest platform built on @djpro's scripting. Players can design, test, and submit their own platforming levels for a chance to win loves, favorites, and follows.
Editor Controls & Tile Set
The editor is controlled via keyboard: use left/right arrows or A/D to cycle through tiles, and press Space to place a selected tile. Pressing C generates a unique level code after approximately ten seconds, which can be saved and shared. To create a new level, type "1" at the start screen. To play a submitted level, type "2" and paste the code. To resume editing a saved level, type "3" and paste its code.
The tile set includes lethal red tiles, springboards for vertical boosts, keys and locks requiring matching IDs (under 4 characters, no commas), standard ground, metal boxes, and collectible stars—maximum three per level. Players can wall jump.
Contest Rules & Prizes
Strict contest rules apply: no copying, all levels must have a finish, no blocks on the start position, and no inappropriate tile art. Submissions are posted on the Scratch forums with a level name and desired credit name. Prizes range from 5 loves/favorites and a follow for first place to a single love for other winners, with everyone receiving credit in the final full game compilation. An extensive example level code is provided for reference.
