Notebook 3 Platformer (Finished) - Ice, Ladders & Geometry Dash-Inspired Size Portals

Notebook 3: Finished introduces a suite of new mechanics and environmental interactions to the series. Control is flexible, supporting Arrow Keys, WASD, or tap controls. Level progression is achieved by reaching the right side of the screen.

Expanded Hazard & Movement Systems

The game expands its hazard roster to include spikes, liquid fire, saws, and cannons, while also introducing beneficial elements. Trampolines provide high vertical boosts, and green platforms grant a directional boost when the up key is pressed. Players can now navigate water via swimming mechanics and climb ladders to access new areas. Speed boosts forcefully propel the player in indicated directions.

Signature Features: Size Portals & Ice Physics

A standout feature is the implementation of Size Portals, inspired by Geometry Dash, which alter the player's scale and subsequently affect physics and collision. Ice tiles introduce slippery momentum-based movement. The level design itself features "merged" line art, creating a unique aesthetic. New spike designs and the addition of ice and ladders mark significant feature updates for this installment.
