Incredibox Sprunki Pyramixed 0.9 OC Remix - When Two Worlds Collide (Sort Of)
Okay so full disclosure: #12 "I once dreamt about the characters. Gray was chasing me. Woke up stressed." That was after playing like three different Sprunki mods back-to-back before bed. Don't do that. Anyway, this "Incredibox Sprunki" thing - it's exactly what it sounds like but also not at all?
First thing I noticed: #134 "There's a graphical glitch when you drag too fast. Looks cool actually." It's like the game can't keep up with itself, leaving these trippy after-images. Kinda fits the whole "remix" vibe if you think about it.
So what's the deal with the "Incredibox" part? Well, #387 "Like someone took the original and put it through a glitch filter." That's the closest description I can give. The sounds have this... quality to them. Like they're from Incredibox but someone ran them through a Sprunki blender.
And oh man, #266 "The audio version of 'placeholder text' - Lorem Ipsum but for music." That's some of the vocals in this. They're like... syllables but not words? Phonetic soup? I don't know how to describe it better than that. You just have to hear it.
Here's where things get weird (well, weirder): #353 "There's a specific formula that works for these reviews. I follow it religiously." Except I'm trying not to do that here because this game doesn't follow formulas. It's a remix of a mod of a... you get it.
Let's tackle a couple questions real quick:
Is this actually a collaboration or just a mashup name? Hard to say. Feels more like someone took elements from both and mashed 'em together rather than an official collab. But hey, results are what matter, right?
How does it compare to regular Pyramixed? Different tempo, different sound palette, different... feel? The animations have this bouncy quality that regular Pyramixed doesn't. Like #180 "The character animations are synced to the beat. Impressive." Actually properly synced, not just kinda-sorta.
And #458 - "There's a numbness in my legs from sitting cross-legged too long." That's how you know you've been playing too long. When body parts start complaining about your digital music experiments.
So who's this for? If you're tired of the same Sprunki sounds and want something that feels... adjacent? Like listening to a cover band that does their own interpretation? This remix might hit the spot. It's familiar enough to not be disorienting, but different enough to feel fresh.
Final thought: #424 "This is what plays in the background of a tech tutorial video." But like, a really well-produced one from 2012. There's a nostalgia to it that I can't quite place.
Give it a click. Worst case, you waste five minutes. Best case, you find a new sound combo that makes your brain happy.
