It's like the regular colorful chaos took a nap and woke up in a cooler, darker room. The colors are all blues, purples, deep greens – you get the vibe. Less "kids' cartoon," more "lo-fi hip hop radio to study/relax to."
Okay, real talk: I found this one late one night, and it just fit. There's a specific hour of the night (3 AM) where every Sprunki mod sounds like a masterpiece. This one actually *tries* to sound like a 3 AM masterpiece, and you know what? It gets close sometimes. The sounds are deeper, more atmospheric. Less "blip" and more "wub." More reverb. It's what you'd hear in a virtual waiting room that's been abandoned, but in a cool, aesthetic way.
The character designs look like they were made in MS Paint in 2005. In a good way! They have this simple, shadowy look that works. I've given nicknames to characters. Green blob is "Gerald." Don't ask why. The blue one in this mod I call "Nocturne." Fancy.
My browser's autofill now suggests "sprunki" before my actual email address. That's how you know you've played too many of these. But Night Time 3.0 is a good one to get lost in. I sometimes just let it play while doing dishes. My kitchen has never been cleaner, and now it has a dark ambient soundtrack.
The drag-and-drop feels slightly off in this one. Like 2 pixels to the left. Not a dealbreaker, but you notice it. The icons don't snap to grid properly. My OCD is screaming, but the chill music is telling it to calm down. It's a whole internal conflict.

This is the audio equivalent of a lava lamp. Mesmerizing but pointless. And I mean that in the best way possible. It's perfect for when you want to make noise but don't want to think. My brain now defaults to "Sprunki review mode" when I see colorful icons, but these aren't even that colorful! They're dark! My brain is confused but enjoying it.
If Phase 4 and a broken synthesizer had a baby, and that baby was raised by a screensaver, you'd get Night Time 3.0. It's got that glitchy, dreamy feel. The background art is literally a gradient. Couldn't even add a pattern? But you know what? The gradient is a nice gradient. A deep blue to black. It works.
So yeah, if you're tired of the bright, poppy Sprunki mods and want something to match your 2 AM scrolling mood, this is it. It won't blow your mind, but it'll occupy your hands and ears pleasantly.
