Blammer Arcade Platformer - Infinite Arcade Runner with Mario Inspiration
A unique take on arcade-style platforming, reimagining Super Mario as an endless arcade runner (acknowledging but diverging from the original arcade Mario Bros.). Features a single, continuously generated autoscrolling stage where the objective shifts from reaching a flag to maximizing point accumulation. For fans of Mario-inspired games and endless runners.
Core Gameplay
Players control Blammer the Unicorn through an infinitely progressing autoscrolling environment. Ten lives provided to achieve highest possible score through enemy elimination, combo building, and survival longevity.
Score Mechanics
Points earned by jumping on Squishies and Missiles. Consecutive enemy stomps without touching ground build combo multipliers, awarding extra points and bonus lives. Spinders fire lasers but can be defeated by jump attacks, contributing to combo chains. Missile deflection: jumping into missiles from above or below redirects trajectory, enabling multi-enemy eliminations. Distance bonuses: 1000 points awarded after traveling significant distances.
Power-Up System
Colorful lightning bolt boxes contain various power-ups displayed in bottom-right corner:
- Mega: Invincible giant transformation enabling massive combo accumulation
- Ghost: Hold space or click to glide mid-air with temporary invincibility
- Coin: Grants 100 free unicoins immediately
- 1UP: Awards one additional life
Power-up stacking disabled during Mega state for balance.
Unicoin Economy
Earn 100 unicoins through distance milestones, power-up collection, and defeating golden Squishies. After life depletion, spend 500 unicoins via space bar to continue gameplay and improve score.
Controls and Interface
Movement: WASD or arrow keys for running, jumping, ducking. Action: Space bar or mouse click to pop recovery bubble or activate power-ups. Mute toggle: bottom-left corner button silences all audio. Phosphorus mirror link provided for lag reduction: https://phosphorus.github.io/#114080029
