Press the on-screen talk button to communicate with active players. Note: New Scratchers cannot access multiplayer features. The creator (_twurtle_) may appear via teleport—developer "hacks" enabled.

Speedrun Mode & Secret Gem Collection

Press S+P simultaneously to start the official timer. Timer activates on first movement.
Both hidden gems required for valid runs: one atop the starting cloud formation, one above the final checkpoint in the cave.

Hazards, Checkpoints & Easter Eggs

Avoid spikes and fire—both cause instant respawn at the last checkpoint. Multiple save points are distributed across biomes. Hidden Easter eggs reward thorough exploration.
